LANSING, MI: La Comisión Hispana/Latina de Michigan celebró de manera virtual, el pasado viernes 9 de abril de 2021, la graduación universitaria Hispana/Latina de todo el Estado. Cuarenta y ocho estudiantes de diferentes escuelas fueron reconocimos por su esfuerzo y dedicación, en un evento muy emotivo que contó con la asistencia de autoridades, familiares, amigos y simpatizantes de todo el mundo.

CDC chief urges Michigan to ‘close things down’ amid spike

LANSING, Mich., April 12, 2021 (AP): The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said Monday that Michigan should ``close things down'' to help address surging coronavirus infections, days after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer instead urged people to voluntarily restrict certain activities.

LCCC students win top national and state awards

Two Lorain County Community College students have been named in the top 100 community college students in the country and in the top 10 community college students in Ohio.

Lorain Public Library System on May 4 Ballot

The Lorain Public Library System has two levies on the May 4, 2021 ballot, one in Lorain and one in Sheffield Lake. Both are renewal levies, not new taxes.
